serve with shimeji mushroom udon noodles
Process the onion, garlic and ginger. Add water chestnuts and process for a little longer. Meanwhile place noodles in a bowl and cover with boiling water until soft (about 3-5 min) Drain noodles and cut then with a knife so they're only about 3cm long. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Spoon into wonton wrappers, fold wrappers and seal with a little water. Ready to steam. I place a circular piece of baking paper in the bottom of the steamer so they don't stick. Serve with Soy and a little sesame oil.
I make the mix and then freeze what I dont use for another day. You can freeze the cooked dim sims also.
