The best Caramel Vanilla custard ever!
Pre-heat oven to 350(F) degrees. Place a pan full of water in the oven (baƱo de Maria). Blend evaporated milk, condensed milk, eggs, and vanilla in blender.
Melt sugar into liquid caramel in pot. Once melted, spread the caramel (CAREFULLY) in the pot. Pour mix from blender into pot and place pot in the middle of pan of water in the oven. Bake for at least 45 minutes or until a fork comes out clean from the center of the custard.
Once cooked fully place in the refrigerator until completely cooled. When you are ready to serve, flip onto shallow serving dish (flip quickly!).
You can use fat free condensed and evaporated milk. DO NOT USE EGG REPLACEMENTS. Use real white sugar.
