This is an easy italian focaccia bread. It also can be used as pizza crust.
Mix sugar, yeast, spices and oil. Add in one cup warm water. It must be warm so that the yeast will bud. Stir in water and let sit for 15 minuets, or until yeast buds. Then add 1 cup of flour and salt. Mix well before adding another cup and 3/4 of flour. Knead until all the flour is worked in. Form dough into a ball and spread oil over top. Let rise for 45 minutes. Press dough unto a round cookie sheet until about 3/4 of an inch thick. Spread the top with oil and sprinkle cheese over it. Let dough rise for 10-15 more minuets. Bake at 400 F for 12 minutes.
