Suggest a better descriptionPut all the ingredients except for the nuts in a large soup pot. Bring to a simmer and cook until lentils are tender (about 1 hour). Put 2 cups or more of the soup into a food processor or high-powered blender, add nuts, blend until smooth, and stir back into soup.
