Very easy dessert and always a crowd pleaser
In a 9x12 Pyrex dish single layer peaches (may substitute apples, pears, berries) and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons cinnamon.
In a food processor mix flour, sugar, and baking powder. Remove small shaft and while processor is still mixing add egg, mix ONLY until consistence is that of cornmeal and stop. Sprinkle mixture evenly over fruit. In microwave melt 1 stick of unsalted butter . Pour over mixture covering as much of the area as allowed. Sprinkle top with remaining cinnamon to taste. I also add a very small amount of granulated sugar on top.
Bake @350 degrees for 1 hour or until top is golden brown.
Allow time to cool .
**Cobbler tastes yummy with ice cream on top. Enjoy!
Use drained peaches make sure moisture is completely drained. I've also use canned apples like what you would use inside pies no need to drain.
