Steep the tea bags in the one quart of boiling water. Combine all the ingredients down to the apple cider in a large pot. Either put the whole cloves in a cheese cloth or in a loose tea strainer and add this to the pot. Drop the cinnamon sticks into the pot as well. SLOWLY bring the mixture to ALMOST a boil, but DO NOT boil, and keep stirring gently! Once you see the steam starting to rise off the surface, remove from the heat and let cool down on its own. Stir a few times while the tea cools off.
This tea recipe can easily be doubled or more if desired. Great for a winter party!
