Suggest a better descriptionPrepare pie crust according to package directions for two-crust filled 9-inch pie pan.
Heat oven to 425.
In large bowl, combine apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt; toss lightly. Spoon mixture into crust-lined pan. Dot with 2 tablespoons butter. Top with second crust; seal edges and flute. Cut slits in several places in top crust.
Bake 35-45 minutes or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown.
Cover edge of crust with strips of foil after 15 minutes of baking to prevent excessive browning.
Remove from oven and let cool.
