Oven baked pork spare ribs
Marinate ribs in first 4 ingredients over nite if possible. Next day drain and place in foil lined baking dish. meanwhile mix next lot of ingredient in a pot an cook until thickened. Use as baste for ribs. Cook long and slow 160 for four hours, covered.
I used smaller bit of ribs from verkerks, the recipe said one tablespoon cornflour but that was too thick, then after an hour they were swimming in water. I drained made new baste with one teaspoon and kept basting, went out and they ended up with over four hours with cover off, was far too long!! Try again with bigger bones, or don't go out!!
