Family loves this one, takes time but worth it in the end. :) A mix of Spagetti Bolognaise and Lasagna!
Mince Sauce
Brown the mince in a fry pan, add bacon, onion, garlic and spices, stir together.
Add the tomato puree and the bay leaves.. mix till combined then let simmer on low heat for 15 mins.
Pasta
Boil saucepan of water, add the angel hair spagetti.. cook until the spagetti can be cut with a fork edge. take out and rinse. Set aside.
Bechamel Sauce
Melt butter in a saucepan on medium heat, add flour stirring until combined, start adding milk slowly, stirring constantly.. as it combines and thickens add more milk until the sauce becomes smooth and thick.. you must stir constantly, best to use a wooden spoon or small whisk. Turn the heat to low and add cheese stirring until melted into sauce. Remove from heat and set aside.
Turn oven onto 180 degrees celcius or 160 degrees for fanforced.
In a large round casserole dish, put a layer of spagetti, then a layer of meat sauce, then a layer of bechamel sauce. Repeat process... sprinkle 1/2 cup of shredded cheese over the top and put in oven until cheese is melt and browned to your liking.
Make sure you constantly stir the bechamel sauce as you add the milk slowly to avoid lumps... if you get lumps you can always use a sieve to get them out if needed.
