My mother's homemade chocolate pudding. Way better than that instant crap in the stores.
Whisk together sugar, flour and cocoa. Add eggs and milk. Whisk until well blended.
Microwave: cook 3 min; Whisk, cook an additional minute (if not thick enough, cook add'l min)
Stovetop: on medium heat, cook until it comes to a boil and thickens. Stir or whisk often to keep from sticking.
After thickened, add vanilla and butter. Stir. Let cool and serve.
Can also make banana pudding by removing cocoa and adding bananas at the end.
make sure you use self rising flour, or make self rising flour using all purpose, baking powder, and salt.
