Crispy flounder fillets, quick and easy.
1. Cut flounder fillet in half, following bone line, length wise.
2. In a bowl, combine salt, garlic powder, cornstarch, and flour.
3. In second bowl, beat egg lightly.
4. In third bowl, put bread crumbs.
5. Heat oil for frying.
6. Coat flounder in first mixture of flour, then dip in egg and finally coat in bread crumbs.
7. Fry fillets until golden brown, 1-2 minutes on each side.
Enjoy with sides like mash potatoes and edamame salad.
May choose to add a little ground pepper to flour mixture.
