Almost too good to be lowcarb!
Heat waffle iron according to manufacturer's directions.
Combine milk, eggs, melted butter, vanilla and Splenda in a small bowl. Beat well.
In a medium bowl, combine carbquik and baking powder.
Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients; stir to combine.
Do not overmix.
Scatter 1 Tablespoon pecans over each waffle section in hot waffle iron.
Pour batter by scant 1/2 cups into waffle iron, over pecans, and close lid.
Bake until steaming stops.
Serve hot with butter and sugar-free syrup
