Love this dish by itself with a side of rice or as a filling for tacos, chiles or empanadas. Enjoy!
In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon, thyme, marjoram, crushed garlic, cloves and black pepper. Transfer to a large bowl, add the meat and combine thoroughly.
In a large skillet, heat the oil and add the meat to brown lightly - you can do it in 2 or 3 batches. Transfer browned meat to a bowl and set aside.
Add onions to skillet and cook for 2 minutes. Add the Mölli Morelos sauce and cook for 2 minutes over high heat, stirring constantly.
Return meat to the skillet, stir well and season to taste. Add the bay leaves, potato and cook, covered, over low heat for 15 minutes or until potato is tender.
Uncover, add raisins and cook for 5 more minutes. Sprinkle toasted almonds right before serving. Serve with a side of quinoa or rice; or use as filling for tacos or chiles rellenos. Provecho!
