This is good
Preheat oven to 350 F. Cook rice in water or have leftover rice ready. Brown beef and onion in a nonstick skillet. Drain fat. Add tomato sauce and spices to beef-onion mixture. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Combine cottage cheese and rice. Put a third of rice mixture in large casserole dish. Top with a third of meat-tomato sauce. Continue to alternate layers, ending with tomato sauce. Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
