Suggest a better descriptionIn heavy frying pan, heat butter and oil over medium heat. Add onions and sauté for 15 minutes or until very tender. Sprinkle with brown sugar and vinegar. Stir for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Meanwhhile, combine cheeses. Sprinkle 3/4 cup of cheese mixture evenly over two crusts. Top each with half of onion mixture. Sprinkle each with half the prosciutto. Sprinkle each evenly with rest of cheese mixture. Sprinkle each with half the parmesan.
Bake at 450 degrees F for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with half the basil.
