Boil potatoes for 12-15 mins until soft.Mash with butter and milk. Add salt to taste.
Soften onion in some oil. Add beef and brown. Add flour and cook for 2 mins. Stir in stock ad simmer for 30 mins. Stir in Bisto powder to thicken.
Transfer meat to casserole dish and cover with mashed potatoes. Bake for 25-30 mins at 375 (longer if cold).
Can add extra vegies such as diced carrots, celery, corn to meat mixture.
