Place tomatoes in a baking dish, skin side down. Drizzle with 3 tbl olive oil and sprinkle with garlic, oregano, 4 tbl cheese and pepper. Cover dish with foil and bake approx 20 minutes.
Turn oven to broil. Remove foil, press tomatoes with fork to flatten slightly and broil for 1 to 2 minutes.
Cook spaghetti in salted water. Drain and toss with tomato sauce and remaining 1 tbl oil. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
