Suggest a better descriptionWhisk the first seven ingredients in a large, non metallic dish. Add the ribs and turn them to coat. Cover with cling film. Chill for 2 - 12hrs. Turn the ribs occasionally.
Preheat oven - 180°/Gas Mark 4.
Tip the ribs and marinade into a large roasting tin spreading them out evenly.
Roast for 1 hour 10 minutes, turn the ribs every 20 mins.
Transfer the ribs to a serving platter and keep warm. Pour the marinade into a pan and add the sugar. Stir until dissolved, then boil for 5-10 minutes until sticky.
Pour over the ribs and serve.
