Suggest a better descriptionCombine sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Add water and corn syrup.
Bring to a boil and cook 6 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and add Jello and red food coloring. Set aside to
cool. Spread layer on bottom of the pie crust and add whole strawberries.
Cover with the sauce filling all the cracks. Can make a day ahead. Refrigerate.
This is an alternate way but I was afraid the berries would water & it wouldn't set well.
Slice strawberries and stir into the cooled mixture.
Pour into baked pie crust and allow to set.
