Tasty appetizer and easy to make
Cut a small slice from the top of each tomato; scoop out pulp with a melon baller and discard. Place tomatoes, cut side down on paper towel to drain 15 minutes.
Combine avocado and lemon juice in a small bowl and stir gently. Stir together mayonnaise, bacon and green onions; add avocado mixture and stir until combined.
Spoon mixture into tomato shells. Cover with plastic wrap and chill 1 hour. Sprinkle with salt and pepper just before serving.
