This tasty Thai-style sauce is excellent drizzled over a salad with a handful of roasted peanuts, or spread on a wrap and topped with salad and shredded chicken. Swirl through a bowl of noodles or use to dress up last night's leftovers for today's work lunch.
1. Place all the ingredients except the water in a small saucepan with the pinch of salt. Gradually add the water, heating and whisking until the sauce is smooth and piping hot. Remove from the heat.
2. When cool, store sauce in an airtight container in the fridge; it will keep up to a week.
3. Sesame seeds, garlic, coconut cream, and Thai curry paste could also be flavors added.
