1 firmly packed c Brown sugar
1/4 c Dark rum
1/2 c Chili sauce
1 Dash pepper
1 ts Dry mustard
4 lb Spareribs; cut to serve
1/4 c Catsup
2 Cloves garlic; crushed
1/4 c Soy sauce
1/4 c Worcestershire Sauce

Original recipe makes 4



Wrap ribs in double thickness of foil and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees F. Unwrap and drain drippings. Combine all ingredients and pour over ribs. Marinate at room temperature for 1 hour. Bake at 350 degrees 30 minutes, basting with sauce, or grill 30 minutes, 4 inches above coals turning and basting. Posted to MM-Recipes Digest V4 #3 by Peg Doolin on Jan 08, 1999
