Cook sausage and set a side. (add Red Pepper to taste)
Fry bacon, onions and garlic and place in pot.
Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
Slice potatoes and add to pot.
When potatoes are cooked/soft; add heavy cream.
Shread kale into medium size pieces.
To serve add kale to bowl then spoon in soup and top with cheese.
