Heat oil over med-heat in a sauce pan; add hot pepper & onions and saute until translucent. Add garlic & cook for another minute. Add ketchup, vinegar, maple syrup, and BBQ sauce. Simmer for 10 min.
Preheat the oven to 350 deg. Brown the whole tenderloin on all sides, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and season with the black pepper and hot pepper sauce. Place the tenderloin in a slow cooker on low for approx. 8 hours with the sauce.
Using 2 forks, shred the pork. Serve on buns, or bread.
Liked a darker heavier BBQ sauce (Weber - hickory smoked, and Guinness were good)
