Maders German Restaurant Reuben SoupThe soup was good, but the recipe is unclear as to what to do with the rye bread. Per other German recipes, I soaked the bread in the stock and pureed the mixture. Also ignored the roux recipe & went with equal 2 tbl butter & flour. Note this recipe will not fit in the 3 quart pot cited at the beginning 4 quart min- 6 quart would be easier. One more thing, add the cheese later in the recipe unless you want to keep stirring for 30 minutes.
