Cheesy Chicken and Rice Bake

Cheesy Chicken and Rice Bake

Winner! Family loved this recipe! Great alongside broccoli. Used 13x9 baking dish, onion soup mix for onion powder, and sliced 3 chicken breasts into tenders. Adding this one to the regular rotation!

Peanut Butter Bars

Peanut Butter Bars

I had only milk chocolate chips, and they turned out great. Will try mixed with semi-sweet next time, thanks!

Chicken Enchiladas with a twist

Chicken Enchiladas with a twist

Agree with others, too watery and needs more chicken.

Patty Melt

Patty Melt

Simple and delicious! I used grass-fed beef, Boars Head cheddar, yellow onion, and Onion/Dill/Rye loaf. Perfect! So decadent, 1/2 sandwich is plenty with fresh fruit or celery/carrot sticks.

Avocado Tomato Salad

Avocado Tomato Salad

Easy, light, delicious. I substituted 1/2 fresh jalapeño and it tasted great. I did not have an onion, but look forward to trying the recipe again with onion -- I think onion will make this good recipe great.

Salad: Orzo with Corn, Green Beans, Tomatoes

Salad: Orzo with Corn, Green Beans, Tomatoes

Great summer salad! I didn't have tarragon or shallots handy, and it still tasted great. Perfect for fresh seasonal produce.

Chicken Enchiladas

Chicken Enchiladas

Thanks for this quick and easy recipe! For filling I used (1 medium) rotisserie chicken (shredded), 1 can fat free Cream of Chicken soup, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Skipped the beans and sour cream. Used 28 oz. red enchilada sauce. Topped with green onions after baking. Beautiful and delicious!

Glazed Lemon Bread

Glazed Lemon Bread

I've tried a similar recipe from Food Network. I can guess that some of your nuances (vanilla, multiple glazings) will make a good recipe great! Can't wait to try it.

Oven Roasted Vegetables

Oven Roasted Vegetables

This is one of my favorite ways to cook vegetables, especially in the colder months. I used carrot, red onion, potato, turnip and added 15-20 minutes for crispier edges.

Chicken Noodle Soup

Chicken Noodle Soup

Easy recipe. Prefer more broth, so will likely use 1/2 chicken and 1/2 noodles next time. I made this in the afternoon and kept in warm in the crock pot until dinner time, adding noodles 30 minutes before serving.

Cheesy Corn Casserole

Cheesy Corn Casserole

Amazing and addictive! Drained the corn, added 1/4 cup sugar, and baked in 13x9 pan -- and it turned out perfectly!

Bourbon Chicken

Bourbon Chicken

Like another reviewer, I found 20 minutes too long to simmer. My chicken was definitely overcooked, but that didn't stop my kids from eating every last bite! Topped it with chopped green onion for contrasting flavor, texture, and color.

Shrimp Ceviche

Shrimp Ceviche

Good flavor and perfect amount of heat, but will use 1/2 the salt and pepper next time. I didn't find the bitter orange, so I added fresh squeezed OJ.

Instant Potato Leek Chowder

Instant Potato Leek Chowder

So easy and a kid-pleaser! This recipe also works great with shredded rotisserie chicken (about 1/2 of medium chicken) and an extra cup of broth.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches (Crockpot)

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches (Crockpot)

4 hours on high (from frozen) was enough time. Need to serve with hearty, crusty rolls; I made the mistake of using soft hamburger buns which got soggy quickly.

Kfc Cole Slaw

Kfc Cole Slaw

My 1st attempt was too heavy on the carrots (my mistake). Will try again!

Acorn Squash Ravioli

Acorn Squash Ravioli

I used one wrapper per ravioli, so mine were triangle shaped. I liked the flavor of the filling, but the texture/flavor of the wrapper was not as satisfying as true pasta. I froze a dozen for later, and these cooked up beautifully.

My kids love these eggs! I sometimes make a double batch so we have enough for egg salad.
