BBQ Chicken Thighs in Crockpot@kdunford82, most ovens just have a broil setting on them. Sometimes they will be high or low broil. I would use high broil. :) Hope you enjoy!

Crack RollsGave this recipe to my mom to try. She doesn't have internet so I wanted to review it for her. She said they were fabulous. Just the right amount of sweetness. I suggested that she maybe serve them with a little bowl of caramel sauce (the kind in a squeeze bottle, for ice cream), that might send it right over the edge....

Better than sex cakeI made this for a work function today. I thought it was just ok, but everyone else loved it. I used the bag of heath chocolate bits you can find near the chocolate chips (much easier than chopping up candy bars). I did add the bits of heath on top of cake, then spread coolwhip and then on top as well. Might make it again. Might add chocolate chips to the cake batter next time.

Apple Walnut CakeThis batter is SUPER thick. Almost the consistency of cookie dough when you get the all the ingredients (sans apples) mixed in, so it makes it even harder to get the apples to mix in. I thought I had missed something and kept re-reading the recipe, because it was soo thick. I was not able to 'pour' the batter in to my dish, I had to 'dump' it and then used a pam sprayed spatula to push it to the edges and smooth it out. I only had to cook it for 40 minutes (50-55 would've burned it). I did not use the cream cheese frosting in this recipe, as I have my own go to for that and I did not add nuts. It was ok. Nothing to write home about. There was not caramelization on the bottom of the pan, I'm not sure you could attain that with the pan being buttered and floured. I might make again

Magical Peanut Butter CookiesI added an extra note to the recipe. The actual recipe only calls for 1 cup of sugar in the mix, and the 1/3 is reserved to dip your fork in to do your criss crosses, I guess this is why everyone was thinking it was gritty, they weren't reading the instructions :)

Jalapeño Popper ChickenIt was ok, not something I wow'd about. I would definitely cook it longer. Maybe 35-40 min, the chicken was done, but the cheeses were just warmed thru. I think if I were to make it again I would actually put some of the seeds from the jalapeno in the mix, as it was not spicy enough for me. Also, I would skip the step of toasting the panko. Didnt see why it was necessary. I've never had a problem with panko not getting crispy or golden brown enough,. but figuired I would abide by the recipe first time around.

Olive Garden's Zuppa ToscanaI made some more edits to this recipe. I found that it was a little bland, so I increased the red pepper flakes and added white pepper to end.

Jalapeño Popper ChickenThis sounds amazing! I've never had a problem with my panko not getting crisp. I wonder if I can skip the step of "frying" it first? Have you ever tried that?
