Applesauce Banana Bread

Applesauce Banana Bread

This is a low-fat recipe (eggs are the fat source in the original recipe) that uses a lot of banana. As it is it's surprisingly tasteless. I'd recommend adding cinnamon and some healthy nuts (walnuts have omega-3 oil). If you really want to boost the health factor add about a quarter cup of flax seed meal too.

The "vanilla" should be "vanilla wafers."

Praline Cookies

Praline Cookies

Similar to crescent cookies, but with more nuts and crunchy on the outside, but chewy on the inside. I used about 1/3 cup of almond "flour" from Trader Joe's instead of that much pecan, and chopped all the pecans fine. That worked out very well.
