California Corn BreadI accidentally left out the baking powder and it didn't hurt it at all. Also, I made it in a loaf pan and it took about another 20 minutes or so. It had a pound cake texture to it. Thanks for this recipe!

Red Beans, My Way -or- Bogalousa Louisiana StyleBest red beans and rice ever. I substituted a ham steak and a couple pieces of bacon out of necessity for the the ham bone. I also had to use dry kidney beans for lack of proper ingredients. The flavor of the broth was incredible. Thanks again.
