My specialty is old fashoned Southern US cuisine modified sometimes by chemistry. Most of my recipes were taught by my mom over twenty years ago. I cook hearty, rich foods to die for (from). I particulary enjoy making soups and stews, where balancing the ph can unlock flavors you never knew were there.

Naan for BreadmakerI made this with a slight variation... I cooked it on the range top in a pan. It takes only minutes. I spray the pan with garlic cooking spray and place the rolled out pieces into the pan over high heat. It will immediately start to bubble up looking just like what you get in the Indian restaurant. After the bottom is as brown as you like, flip it over and brown the other side. Don't press it down, and you will find all of the bubbles in the bread brown and get crispy... Like straight out of the tandoori!!!

African Peanut SoupThis reminds me of Thai peanut sauce. By thickening it a little it makes a great sauce for chicken, rice, pasta and more!
