Mulligatawny SoupGreat recipe! This was a hit at a potluck I took it to. I substituted margarine for the butter since some folks couldn't handle dairy and I just cooked chicken with the onions and carrots at the start and used half the amount of uncooked rice with the stock.

Trimlestown Roast SirloinI made this and it took less time than stated to get the roast to my liking but that is going to depend a bit on how you like your meat. The gravy turned out awesome and was a big hit. I would suggest putting the wine/whiskey in at around the half hour to 45 min point instead of a full hour. I also threw some carrots and onion in the broth during cooking and those turned out nicely as a side after cooking in the wine.
