Living on 10 acres there is a lot of land for growing fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Thats where I got my passion for cooking, and of course having a family who loves to eat what I cook. I work full time at the Post Office and still have time to work the garden. We also have a vineyard of about 120 grapes vines. I love preserving foods. I love canning my tomatoes all kinds of ways to make good soups in the winter and love the fresh taste. I also love juicing fresh vegetables and dehyrating them as well. The greatest thing I grow for cooking is herbs. I cant cook without my rosemary, sage, basil, chives, mint..... shall I go on. It makes everything taste better.

I love mexican food the best, with just fresh vegetables up next. You can do anything with them. All through my life no matter where everyone lives, we all get together for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH! The great food that comes from my kitchen with all the helping hands. LOVE IT! Cooking is a great thing for everyone. Even if someone thinks they can't do anything or they don't  have any friends, they should try cooking. It will be bring people around.  Such a great hobby and lifestyle.

Hello Ann, I am humbled by the fact that you would value my opinion! As for tarragon — it would work wonderfully in Mama Leah's Chicken Soup. Even though my personal Polish tastes might prefer dill, fresh tarragon and dill are quite interchangeable in most recipes. A local Greek dinner I frequent uses fresh tarragon sprigs in their homemade chicken stock. They clarify some of the stock to make a tarragon infused chicken consommé which I love...and, before she passed away, I couldn't visit my maternal grandmother without bringing her a large container of their Avglemono soup who's lemony flavor was complemented perfectly by the subtle tarragon infusion. Also, for tarragon variations on some your recipes: I think some fresh tarragon, maybe a squeeze of lemon juice, would make wonderful additions to your Chicken Breasts in Caper Sauce. Substitute fresh tarragon for the basil in your Herbed Shrimp Pasta. Your Corn on the Cob with Herbed Butter — our family uses tarragon butter on many roa

Hi Ann, thank you so much for your comment on the Kindle Fire app. Glad you love it! As for Apple Crisp, here's one that has gotten very good remarks from lots of folks. Haven't tried it myself yet but sgrishka has a consistently winning record with his posted recipes...
