I grow all my own herbs, so I am using terragon, thyme, and parsley.I just bought some fresh ginger root, so Ill try that too. Thanks for posting. Ill post a pic soon.

Hello Ann, I am humbled by the fact that you would value my opinion! As for tarragon — it would work wonderfully in Mama Leah's Chicken Soup. Even though my personal Polish tastes might prefer dill, fresh tarragon and dill are quite interchangeable in most recipes. A local Greek dinner I frequent uses fresh tarragon sprigs in their homemade chicken stock. They clarify some of the stock to make a tarragon infused chicken consommé which I love...and, before she passed away, I couldn't visit my maternal grandmother without bringing her a large container of their Avglemono soup who's lemony flavor was complemented perfectly by the subtle tarragon infusion. Also, for tarragon variations on some your recipes: I think some fresh tarragon, maybe a squeeze of lemon juice, would make wonderful additions to your Chicken Breasts in Caper Sauce.
