Cheeseburger 'n' Fries Casserole

Cheeseburger 'n' Fries Casserole

Definitely a base recipe, but a decent one! I added onion, garlic, Montreal steak seasoning, and a bit of shredded cheddar cheese at the end of baking.

Baked Creamy Chicken Taquitos

Baked Creamy Chicken Taquitos

I would use a bit less onion next time, but this was a great recipe. I used flour tortillas. You can really add or subtract anything to this and make it to your taste.

Spicy Honey Mustard Sauce

Spicy Honey Mustard Sauce

This was . . . Different, but good. I cut back on the cayenne and it was still plenty spicy. I served it on Thai style tacos.

Emily's Corn Dip

Emily's Corn Dip

I used regular corn, and cut the japs by 1/2 which left it plenty spicy. I also added cumin and fresh cilantro. Everyone loved it!

Hungarian Goulash

Hungarian Goulash

This smelled so good all day. I used FF sour cream but you could use plain yogurt. I also listened to another reviewer and used less paprika. I think either way would be fine.

Southwestern Slow Cooker Chicken & Potato Soup

Southwestern Slow Cooker Chicken & Potato Soup

Kind of bland as is. I added fresh garlic, garlic powder, salt, and onion powder. I served it over brown rice.

Banana Pancakes

Banana Pancakes

I used whole wheat flour and left out the oil. They were good. My toddler loved them. I like the idea of mixing in the blender.

Tuna Cakes

Tuna Cakes

Good base recipe. I added Old Bay and parsley, but I did not need a whole cup of oil to fry.

Better Than Olive Garden Alfredo Sauce

Better Than Olive Garden Alfredo Sauce

Delicious! I used whole milk instead of heavy cream and left everything else the same. I will definitely make it again. Make sure you give the mozarella cheese a chance to really melt and incorporate before serving.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Delicious. Sweet (but not overly so) and salty. I used bone in chicken thighs and baked for about and hour, flipping halfway thru.

Lumberjack Pancakes

Lumberjack Pancakes

Grest recipe! I cut it in half and used whole wheat flour. I also added cinnamon and brown sugar. My 1 yr old loved them and so did we!

Creamy Sauced Chicken & Noodles

Creamy Sauced Chicken & Noodles

I added fresh garlic and used tomato paste instead of Aji Panca. Maybe that ingredient is what it was missing? We enjoyed it (and I love a solid slow cooket recipe), but it was missing a little something that I cant put my finger on.

Bourbon Chicken

Bourbon Chicken

Good recipe. I changed just a bit: doubled the garlic

Crock Pot Chicken Taco Chili

Crock Pot Chicken Taco Chili

Not bad at all. A good, solid slow cooker recipe to have. I added garlic, but I firmly believe garlic should go in almost everything.

Stuffing Meatballs

Stuffing Meatballs

A successful dinner. My boyfriend enjoyed it, and my 1 year old couldnt get enough. Tasty and easy, but definitely on the plain side.

Spicy Baked Salmon

Pretty good! Ill make it again, but might tweak the spices a bit.

Penne Pasta with Lemon Sauce

Penne Pasta with Lemon Sauce

I gave it a 2 because I had to add a ton of stuff to it. But as a base recipe it is great for adding various things. This time I added: Green onion, thickened it w/flour, lots of garlic, and spices. I also added peas.
