This was my contribution to Xmas dinner dessert table & it was a huge hit!! I used whipped heavy cream in lieu of Cool Whip, then topped with raspberries, toasted sliced almonds & drizzled chocolate syrup. Beautiful Presentation. Will definitely make again. ??
I made a few adjustments & got a great result. For a brighter lemon flavor I added the zest if 1 lemon, Ponzu in place of soy sauce, grated in about a tsp. of fresh ginger & 1 clove minced garlic. Done in less than 45 min.
I made these over the weekend & they came together very quickly. I refrigerated the prepared dough for about an hour & the edges were crispy w/the center chewy. I think my husband got a one every time he passes the cookie jar.
