I am married and we live with our 19-year-old autistic son. We don't go out much because it is difficult with him, and so we started experimenting in the kitchen. Now we have no reason to go out for food. It is usually a disappointment compared with what we can do. We have had time to invent and investigate, our son likes to help, and there really aren't many good restaurants in our vicinity. We are looking for more recipies always. It looks like this is a prime place. I will post when I think of something that hasn't already been done here . I see many recipes or versions of recipes we have tried. I love this site!

I love many foods. I like Mexican foods, French style cooking, Italian, Japanese, other Asian, American, and I am always open to trying new things. I am an ice cream and chocoholic. Recently I am experimenting with Middle Eastern cuisine. I love anything my husband cooks. He is a dessert and grillmaster.

No Bake CookiesA lost recipe from my childhood, a blessing to find again. 5 minutes to make. 5 minutes for family to devour. Decadence offset by the healthful oatmeal. Comfort snack. Thanks for posting it .
