Whole-Wheat Bread
I am still adjusting to being a civilian, my children have completely transitioned.  My Husband and I are slower in the process.  I love being home and cooking more, my garden last year gave me tons of new hobbies, canning, gardening, trying to salvages seeds from heirloom varieties.  I am also taking up quilting.  I like reading, cooking, hiking, playing with my girls outside.

Recipes I've Posted (all 3)

Teriyaki chicken;Roasted Turkey, Ham, Fried cabbage & French onion soup.   Anything from my smoker especially pork.  I love meats and veggies that have been flame kissed, barbecue, broiling fire roasted or smoked.  I have been to many countries (military related) and I have never found a cuisine style that  I don't like.  I like to mix cuisines.  Southern food mixes well with asian flavors.  Pacific island fairs well too.  I like kahlua pork with southern style fried cabbage. I like experimenting with flavor combos.

Loved it! I'm on a diet so I used less sugar, skim milk, and whole wheat flour(worked really well). Just a wonderful recipe.

Crockpot Kalua Pig

Crockpot Kalua Pig

very sorry to here that, I love it and so does everyone In my family, I'd suggest less apple juice for a smaller roast I typically double it not lower it and the best roast to use is a blade roast or a butt roast you really need a bone for this one. also try adding a little more liquid smoke. Im truly sorry you didn't like it though. I lived in Hawaii for 4 years and got the recipe (no real measurement) from a local.
