chefkrissyb ,Followed the recipe exactly and they turned out great. Delicious way to start the weekend!12y
meganmesser ,Good but I made improvements, I added 2 1/2 teaspoons brown sugar to add more taste and 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Very good. Could use more flower next time12y
kissedbygrace ,Very good recipe... I modified it as well:) I used 1 cup flour and 1 cup oats and added a ts vanilla. Also I threw everything in the blender because I knew my kids would prefer no chunks of banana in their pancakes12y
dlyne ,Very good. Needs a little more flour to bind the cakes together. Also added a little vanilla. Served with maple syrup with butter melted in. Yumm!12y
blindpigfighter ,Relatively easy to make. I enjoyed them but the children did not real care for them. Most likely because the children are used to light and fluffy but these are rather heavy. Over all good.12y
ashmar8689 ,This was a little more complicated then other pancakes recipes but they were so yummy I will definitely recommend them13y
arkyologist ,great recipe, moist and thick! doubled recipe - beware, use oats package to see how much milk to use. omitted sugar and substituted applesauce for butter. still tasted great. also added some wheat germ. have left overs and will make again!13y
madduck2k ,Very tasty and healthy pancakes. There was a lot of work involved to get them ready for cooking so I don't know if these will be a regular on the menu. Maybe I'll try a couple of the shortcuts in the reviews before resigning these to special occasions.13y
shesheb ,I found this recipe when I realized I didn't have all of the ingredients for another banana pancake recipe that I make. To make prep time a bit shorter, I substitute one cup of Pioneer Baking Mix for the flour, baking powder, and salt. I've also found that this recipe really doesn't need the one T of sugar--the bananas along with syrup make them sweet enough! These are delicious!!13y
ekunner ,I made this for my wife one morning and just threw everything into a large measuring bowl and cooked them. Turned out great. If your in a rush here is just an idea13y
lisa_hobbins ,From the comments about how long this takes to make and all the work I was really worried about making it at first but I prepared everything the night before and stuck the oatmeal mixture in the fridge until the morning and had the dry ingredients in a tupperware and just had to toss them together with the eggs and banana's in the morning. It's really easy and not much work come breakfast time! Thanks for the recipe!13y
pokiokchef ,They taste amazing. Quite a lot of work for a pancake, but worth it. I made a double batch so it took a bit longer to cook them all. Some will go in the freezer for quick healthy breakfasts through the week.14y
bobthebug ,I added orange zest (a lot) to the milk and butter before I added the oatmeal. I also increased the amount of cinnamon. These pancakes were the best I have ever made!!14y
mrsmello ,My husband and I just made these for breakfast and LOVED them! We're big pancake eaters and these really stand out. I added 2 tbsp of flaxseed meal - nice, healthy addition. Thanks for the recipe!!14y
803tammie ,I made these pancakes this morning and they are out of this world. Thanks keep them coming.14y
maryh620 ,This is by far one of the best oatmeal banana pancake recipes out there! I have made it several times for guests and always to rave reviews and calls for 2nds!15y
I served these to out of town guests and they ate them all! Worth the effort but would not make them all the time, a nice treat for somthing different.
nashvillejoe ,I have used this recipe for the last 30 plus years as a special occasion breakfast. I do not recall where the recipe came from, but this is one of my favorite breakfast creations. [I posted this recipe.]18y
