Suggest a better descriptionIn a small saucepan mix together the pear juice, sugar and cinnamon. Bring to a boil. Add the ginger, cook for 5 minutes, then add the pears. Lower the heat and simmer the pears for 20 minutes, turning them occasionally. Transfer the pears to a serving platter. Bring the syrup to a boil and cook over high heat until reduced to 1/2 cup (about 6 minutes). Pour the juice on the pears.
