Whisk the butter, heavy whipping cream, and cream cheese together in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat until melted.
Add the minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper, whisk until smooth.
Stir in parmesan cheese, bring to a simmer and continue to cook for about 3-5 minutes or until it starts to thicken.
Do not boil or over heat. Boiling will separate alfredo sauce.
