Combine water and chicken broth and bring to a boil and add Lipton noodle soup mix. Boil for 9 minutes. Add rice and boil for 9 more minutes.
In separate skillet cook sausage. Once cooked, drain and add onion, celery, and green pepper and sauté. Add to noodle and rice mixture above.
Add salt, pepper, and chicken to mixture.
Place in large casserole dish (9x13). Sprinkle sliced almonds on top. Bake 1 hour covered and then 13 more minute uncovered at 325 degrees. Serve hot. Great meal prep recipe. Freeze before cooking in the oven.
