Melt butter and brown sugar; bring to boil; keep at rolling boil for 3 minutes exactly. Pour carmel over crackers; quickly make sure it covers all crackers.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top of carmel; Put in oven 30-60 seconds, until chips turn shiny. Optional: add sliced almonds, pecans or peanuts on top.
