For Cake: Grease and flour a Bundt pan. Sprinkle nuts lightly on bottom and set aside
Beat remaining cake ingredients for about 2 minutes.
Pour batter over nuts.
Bake in preheated 325 degree oven for 45 minutes or until done.
For glaze: Combine sugar, butter,water and amaretto in saucepan and boil for 3 minutes.
After cake has cooled for 5 minutes, drizzle glaze over top and sides while cake is still in the pan. Let sit 1-2 hours while glaze is absorbed.
