Suggest a better descriptionBeat egg yolks with milk and sugar. Cook in double boiler until thick. Remove from fire. Add butter and vanilla. Mix well. Add can of cream.
Beat egg whites until half-way mounted. Then add sugar slowly followed by cold water, salt and cream of tartar until peaks form.
Arrange broas in pyrex (3 quart) (optional: add drop of brandy). Place broas, cream, broas. If broas are thin do not separate. On top of of last layer of broas, place white icing. Serve cold
