Cut Crisco into flour. add the remaining dry ingredients and cold water. Turn lightly (not to make crust tough). Divide into 2 balls. Prepare dough for pan. Add bottom crust to pan.
Slice apples, add sugar, cinnamon, 1 T. flour and salt, mix. Fill pie crust with a mound of apples. Slice butter pats and put on top. Add top crust. Sprinkle with sugar and apple pie spice.
Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Turn oven back to 350 degrees and bake an additional 35 minutes.
