Easy to make cheese snacks with olives. Aunt Marie made these as snacks for appetizers prior to Thanksgiving and Christmas or anytime she came up.
Mix grated cheese and flour. Add butter and seasonings. Mix WELL (use hands if necessary). Knead to blend even better. Make small balls, putting an olive in center of each and roll well with hands. Cook at 450 degrees F. for five minutes on bottom shelf of oven and six minutes on top shelf (although Aunt Marie does it all in the middle shelf of the oven). Cook just before eating. Can be frozen, but freeze uncooked and cook in oven after thawing for an hour.
