Cook bacon and onion in 10" skillet till bacon is crispy, spoon off fat.
In a large bowl stir together bacon & onion mixture, soup, sour cream, 4 Tablespoons butter, potatoes ,broccoli ,green onion and cheese.
Season mixture with salt & pepper if desired.
Mix together remaining butter and Panko crumbs.
Spoon potato mixture into 9x9x2" lightly greased baking pan and sprinkle panko mix on top.
Bake 45 minutes or until the mixture is hot and panko is golden brown.
