Banana Crunch Smoothie - like a well known high street smoothie chain's breakfast replacement.
Prep starts some time before and can be done in far larger batches. Buying ripe bananas that need eating or using straight away is often best and also cheapest. In a bowl mash the bananas and scoop into freezer pots in rough "3 banana" quantities. Freeze them for later use.
On day of making add one of the pots of banana to a blender jug, add the yoghurt, granola and milk. Make sure the milk and yogurt mix cover the granola to allow it to soften a little. Add the honey. Ding this last allows a little extra time for bananas to soften and break up and the granola to absorb some of the liquids.
Blend on high till no obvious lumps - not smooth but clearly one liquid not multiple ones.
Serve in a 330ml glass.
Mash and freeze the bananas, then pick those as the first ingredient into the blender - gives them chance to soften a little.
