In a microwave safe 2 quart casserole, melt 3 tablespoons of the butter at full power for 2 minutes
Stir in the mushrooms, onion, pecans and thyme. Cook 3 minutes.
Stir in the barley and cook 2 minutes.
Stir in the stock, raisins and remaining 1 tablespoon butter. Cover and cook 35 minutes. Let stand, covered, for 5 minutes before serving.
Recipe for 650 to 700 watt microwave on HIGH.
