Suggest a better descriptionMix all ingredients thoroughly in a large bowl. Mixing well helps give the meatballs a good texture so be rough and mix for several minutes. Form into meatballs and freeze individually on a baking sheet. Transfer to freezer bags and store in freezer.
To prepare meatballs remove the desired quantity from the freezer and place in baking dish. Allow for space between meatballs. Spread the desired amount of BBQ sauce over each meatball and bake for one hour at 350?F.
The BBQ Sauce:
2 cups ketchup
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 cup chopped onion
Mix all ingredients. This quantity of sauce will cover approximately one half of the recipe quantity of meatballs.
