Heat oil in Dutch oven and sauté mushrooms until tender and crisp, set mushrooms aside.
Sauté onion until tender and crisp, set onions aside.
Add beef cubes & brown on all sides. Add additional oil if needed. Add onion, bay leaf, salt, glutamate, pepper, garlic cloves, paprika and water. Stir to blend.
Bring to a boil then reduce heat. Cover & simmer for 2 to 2.5 hours until meat is fork tender. Remove Bay Leaf and stir in mushrooms.
Serve over noodles.
